Document date: 23 September 2026 · Version: 1.1 — pre-publication draft
BEFORE PUBLICATION: Complete the separate advertising disclosure link, transfer arrangements and retention practices. This draft must not be published on its own.
1. Scope and responsibility
This policy explains personal data practices in the FormulaGo mobile application and support communications. “We” means BtaMobileApps, the company developing and operating the application. BtaMobileApps is the company responsible for processing personal data under this policy (the data controller). Send privacy questions and data requests to ofis2ateam@gmail.com.
This policy covers the application's current functionality. Advertising providers and their specific practices are described in a separate Advertising Services and Data Processing Disclosure: [INSERT SEPARATE DISCLOSURE LINK]. That disclosure supplements this policy and must be accessible before data collection begins.
2. How the application works
FormulaGo offers formula and shortcut search, learning exercises, quizzes, formula calculations, charts and template editing. No account or sign-in is required. Searches and calculations run on your device; the search feature does not send queries to a remote AI chat service.
The current application code does not send your formula queries, calculation inputs or template contents to a server operated by BtaMobileApps. This does not mean that no data is processed: local records, advertising services, sharing you initiate and support communications are explained below.
3. Information, sources and purposes
- Local preferences: Application and formula languages, appearance, text size and example-display settings are stored on your device to maintain your choices across sessions.
- Favourites and learning records: Favourite items, recently viewed content, quiz scores, quiz types and dates are stored locally. Recent history contains up to 20 records and quiz history up to 100 records. Older entries are removed from these lists when their limits are exceeded.
- Working inputs: Search text, calculation and chart inputs, and template edits are processed in device memory to provide the relevant feature. Do not assume that all such inputs are saved permanently or securely erased whenever a screen closes.
- Exported files: Sharing a template writes an XLSX file containing your entries to the application's cache. The file is passed to your chosen destination through the system sharing flow you initiate.
- Advertising and preference information: When advertising services operate, they may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, device/application and advertising identifiers, device and operating-system information, ad impressions and interactions, diagnostics and consent preferences. Purposes include serving ads, personalisation where permitted, measuring advertising performance, security and fraud prevention. The expiry of a rewarded ad-free period and a reward counter are stored on your device.
- Support communications: If you email us, your email address, the name you provide, message, attachments and correspondence details are processed to assess and respond to your request. Do not send unnecessary identity documents, passwords, payment card details or sensitive personal data.
Information comes from your entries, application interactions, automatic technical records generated by advertising services and messages you send us. The current application's core functions do not require access to your camera, microphone, contacts or precise GPS location. Approximate location processing for advertising is a separate activity.
4. Purposes and legal grounds
Processing necessary to provide requested application features relies, where applicable, on entering into or performing the service relationship. Resolving support requests and protecting service security may rely on legitimate interests balanced against your rights; responding to statutory requests on legal obligations; and dispute records on establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. These grounds do not automatically apply together to every activity.
Optional personalisation and device access or tracking that requires permission under applicable law require valid prior consent. The relevant activity must not proceed without required consent. Non-personalised advertising does not eliminate all technical processing; such ads may still use technical information. Providers' own purposes and grounds are identified in the separate advertising disclosure.
Reading this notice, downloading the application or continuing to use it does not by itself constitute consent. Where required, consent is requested through a separate choice. Withdrawal does not retrospectively invalidate lawful processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Recipients and sharing
The current code does not synchronise locally stored favourites, working inputs or learning records to a developer server. Advertising services may receive their technical information directly; the absence of a separate developer database does not mean that no transfer occurs.
Information may be disclosed to advertising providers for advertising and measurement, to the email service provider for support correspondence, and to competent authorities or legal advisers when legally necessary. Whether a provider acts as a processor or an independent controller depends on its terms and purposes. Advertising provider identities, relevant recipients and links must be identified in the separate disclosure.
When you share a file, its contents are passed to the application, person or cloud service you select. Their retention and sharing practices also apply. Deleting the local file does not recall copies already sent. Operating-system backups and device migration may also copy local application data according to your settings.
6. International transfers
Advertising, email, system backup and selected sharing services may process information outside your country. Destination countries, recipients and the legal transfer mechanisms actually used: [COMPLETE FROM SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS].
Transfers from Türkiye must meet the applicable requirements of the current Article 9 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law. Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom rules apply, the corresponding transfer safeguards must also be in place. This notice does not represent that standard contractual clauses have been signed or that an adequacy decision exists. Using the application is not blanket consent to regular international transfers. Contact us for information about the safeguards actually used.
7. Retention and deletion
Local preferences and favourites remain until you change them, remove the relevant records or delete application data. Viewing and quiz history can be cleared from the corresponding screens; favourites can be removed using the star control. Expiry of a rewarded ad-free period ends the benefit, but the counter and last expiry value may remain stored locally.
On Android, you can use the operating system's clear application data option. On iOS, you can delete the application completely; merely offloading it may retain data. Backups, exported documents and recipients' copies must be managed separately. Cached XLSX files are not automatically deleted immediately after sharing. They may remain until overwritten by a file with the same name, cache cleanup or removal of application data.
Support messages are kept for the period needed to resolve the request and complete necessary follow-up. Where an ongoing dispute or mandatory legal retention requirement applies, only the necessary records are retained for the relevant period. Records without a continuing processing justification are deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Operational deletion schedule for these records: [VERIFY BEFORE PUBLICATION]. Advertising retention periods and deletion methods must be included in the separate disclosure; uninstalling the application does not automatically erase providers' historical records.
8. Your choices and requests
Depending on your region and available service options, an advertising consent form may appear. Where available, use “Advertising privacy preferences” in Settings. You can also manage advertising and tracking controls in your operating system. Contact us if the preference screen is unavailable; email contact does not replace any required in-application consent mechanism.
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about and access to your data, correction, deletion and notification to relevant recipients. Under Turkish law, rights also include learning the recipients of transfers, seeking compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing and objecting to adverse results arising solely from automated analysis. Where GDPR or UK rules apply, restriction, portability and objections to certain processing may also be available under the relevant conditions.
Email ofis2ateam@gmail.com describing your request. The subject “FormulaGo — Privacy Request” is helpful but optional. We may request only necessary and proportionate verification to prevent unauthorised access; unnecessary sensitive documents are not required for an ordinary request. Where we cannot remotely access or erase device-only records, we explain available local steps. Other legally recognised request channels remain available.
Requests under Turkish law are handled within 30 days; where GDPR applies, normally within one month. If an extension permitted by the relevant law is needed, its reasons are communicated within the applicable period. Your rights to complain to a competent data protection authority and seek a judicial remedy remain available.
9. Children's privacy
FormulaGo is intended only for users aged 18 or older. People under 18 are not permitted to use the application; parental or guardian permission does not override this age limit. The application is not directed at children. The current version does not technically verify age, so this restriction does not mean that people under 18 cannot access the application or that their data can never be processed.
If you believe information about someone under 18 has been processed through the application or support channel, contact ofis2ateam@gmail.com. Following assessment, relevant data under our control will be deleted or its processing restricted, except for records that must legally be retained. We explain local deletion steps for device-only records and direct requests concerning third-party-controlled records to the relevant channels. Mandatory legal protections for children apply regardless of this age statement.
10. Security and automated processing
Local records use the application's storage area on the device. We do not claim that these records receive additional application-level encryption. Device locks, operating-system updates and backup settings contribute to protection. Access to support records should be limited to people who need it, with appropriate organisational and technical measures; no system can guarantee absolute security. Applicable notification duties will be followed if a reportable breach occurs.
Formula results, quiz scores and learning levels are application features. BtaMobileApps does not use them to make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects. Any profiling involved in advertising personalisation is addressed in the separate advertising disclosure.
11. Updates and contact
When data practices change, this policy and its date are updated. Significant changes are communicated through an appropriate in-application notice or the policy page. If a new activity requires consent, it is requested before that activity begins. Updates do not retrospectively legitimise past processing or restrict mandatory rights.
The Turkish and English versions are intended to describe the same practices. Translation differences must not be interpreted to diminish rights under mandatory law.
